Power without darkness:
Energy from the sun.
The sun gives us so much more than just light and heat. It offers us a future-proof source of energy – and great new prospects for regions, local authorities and landowners.
Project development with Tora: we make sure that sustainable energy production doesn’t stop at good intentions. We supply all aspects of solar and photovoltaic project development from a single source. We identify and secure new locations, handle funding and construction, supervise tenders, application, approval and bidding procedures right up until the moment the project becomes fully operational.
Whether it’s photovoltaic or hybrid concept, a new plant or repowering, agricultural, floating or moorland PV: with us solar energy becomes reality. We harness the power of our experience and expertise, but also good, transparent communication with all stakeholders: from landowners and community representatives to residents and environmental organisations. And we implement solutions that meet all needs, for example, different usage and purchase models, community energy projects or the use of individual storage methods.
A solar development, from plan to project.
Solar energy plants –
solid benefits for landowners.
NO FINANCIAL RISK
ToRa bears all financial risks arising from the development of the project.
LONG-TERM SECURITY, ECONOMIC PROSPECTS
The rental agreements for solar plants run for up to 30 years.
HIGH RENTAL INCOME
Fixed minimum rent per hectare and annum. Through a variable rent you receive a share of the rising power yields per year. If the variable rent is higher than the annual minimum rent, the difference will paid in the following year.
ENHANCES THE ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE OF AGRICULTURAL LAND
The project area promotes biodiversity among plants and animals – and reduces nitrate or fertiliser pollution in the soil.
Solar plants –
an opportunity for municipalities.
NO FINANCIAL RISK
Project and planning costs are regulated by development contracts and implementation contracts within the framework of the development plan.
LONG-TERM REVENUES
Up to 0.2 cents/kWh annual revenue. Example: A photovoltaic park with 10 MWp* capacity generates approx. €20,000 revenue/year for the municipality.
CREATES AND SECURES JOBS IN THE REGION
Construction work such as clearing, civil engineering, installation of the solar modules and cabling is contracted out to companies in the region. Jobs are maintained through regular maintenance work on the PV system (cleaning, repairs).
STRIKING A BALANCE BETWEEN ENERGY TRANSITION, AGRICULTURAL UPGRADING AND THE INTERESTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY
The landowners, the municipality and ToRa work together to select suitable plots, e.g. those with low soil quality.
